Oh, sweetie. This has effort written all over it. We like this dress in theory. Truthfully, we wish she'd picked something else from this collection because there were better pieces, more suited to her. We give her credit for trying, however. For once, she doesn't look crazy, like a hooker, or like a crazy hooker. What she looks like, is an egg. It looks a little bit better when she's got the jacket on; everything lays in a more flattering way. But take it off, and the shape gets decidedly unflattering. Besides, it's a somewhat fussy outfit and she can't pull that off. She needs to put on some fashion training wheels and work with the simpler looks for now. She can graduate to the fussier stuff later, if she keeps up her grades. For now, however, the girl is
OUT.
Oh, also the makeup's not bad, the shoes are inoffensive (and a decent pairing with this look), and her hair's too limp.
